My name is Achilleas Kalantzis and I run this studio or “audio lab” if you will, based in Ioannina, Greece.
I have been a music and sound tech enthusiast my whole life. I studied and got my integrated-master diploma from Audio Visual Arts department in Ionian University. During those days I worked on interactive systems of sound, data sonification, audio/recording engineering and of course visual arts. Currently I am working as an instructor of music production and sound engineering at IEK Delta 360 where I share my knowledge and ideas.
I compose and produce music, experiment, work with my partners and travel around the world to meet great people while performing and releasing records with my bands: Varathron, Aenaon and Katavasia. Besides my bands, I also produce and release my own electronic music projects under the name “Aural Haze“.
Since 2012 I have collaborated with many artists and labels as a recording, mixing and mastering engineer (credited as “Crown Audio Conspiracies” until 2017) and I have worked as a producer for bands such as Ushala, Varathron, Blind Tendril, Thlipsis, Aenaon, Spider Kickers, Move the Sun, One Step From the Edge, Thyrathen, Herald, Synteleia, Katavasia, Carnac, Riffobia, K2 and many, many more.
Through my longterm partnership with Floga Records, I specialized in vinyl mastering and recently I initiated a great collaboration with one of the best metal labels in Netherlands: Vic Records! Audio restoration, digitizations and mastering for digital and analog media are some of my usual tasks. Through the years I have delivered works and remasters for legendary artists such as Possessed, Grave Digger, Angel Dust, Iced Earth, Thy Light, Sacramentum, Malevolent Creation and many, many more.
Last but not least, since 2021 I also collaborate with MIA Laboratories as a product specialist and promoter.
